Alekh Sangal

Alekh Sangal is an Indian actor and the son of the veteran film maker, Ambrish Sangal who directed popular films Begaana, Aatish and a lot more. His mother is an actress, Aruna Sangal who became famous for her role in 'Hum Paanch' as Pooja Aunty. Alekh joined theatre workshops to develop his skills in acting. He had been in Yatri Group, Sanjay Srinivas and more. Actor Virendra Singh was his mentor while growing up. He entered into Bollywood with the film ‘Silence Please…The Dressing Room’ in 2004. Prior to this, Alekh assisted his father in his own TV serials and later as assistant to Vikram Bhatt . He also gave his best efforts in the short film, Shaayad under the direction of Sundeep Malani. He became famous with the film ‘S ummer 2007 .This is a story of 5 young boys, who have moved from affluent city and transferred into a small rural village in India. In 2012, he was on the drama film, 'Kshay' as Arvind. Alekh have also done TV serial, ‘Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara' as Kapil Manik Deewan and appeared on the comedy play of Vijay Vermas entitled, 'No Mangni But Shaadi'.
