Varun Malik is the CEO of Konsälidön, a new age consultancy firm that connects organizations with consulting teams more effectively. Mr. Malik has also been simultaneously involved with other organizations such as The Superheroes Project, a non-profit initiative to help small businesses and entrepreneurs cope with the losses related to Covid 19, and SPC Free Zone, a platform for company registration, licensing, and government services. Konsälidön is a new-age consulting firm powered by a digital platform. Our platform enables us to connect organizations with consulting teams more effectively than in the traditional consulting partnership model. We have already grown to 200 consulting teams in our first year of operations and are preparing to grow to 4,000 consulting teams in the next five years. Previously, I have set up and managed businesses for large, mid-sized and small consulting firms: - At PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), I established and headed an Operations Consulting team and lead operational improvement projects for clients in the MENA region. - I set up and managed a consulting team at Protiviti, a global risk management and internal audit firm. - I managed operations consulting projects at Encreate Consulting, a start-up consulting firm in Dubai. Besides my "intrapreneurial" experience within these firms, I have also been an entrepreneur and have set up technology solutions companies (Lemon Interactive India, Konsälidön Digital) and a learning solutions company (ZigEdu) in India. I started my career in banking, where I built my work ethic. I have been a student of science (from where I draw my scientific approach) and business (where I learned to commercialize my scientific approach).
