Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India Gandhinagar was established in the year 1983. The institute is also known as EDII Gandhinagar and it is a not-for-profit autonomous institution. EDII has been set up by apex financial institutions – the IDBI Bank Ltd., IFCI Ltd., ICICI Bank Ltd. and the State Bank of India (SBI) under the aegis of the Government of Gujarat.
