IIT Bhilai was established by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development in 2016 in Chhattisgarh. The institute is presently housed on the transit campus in GEC (Government Engineering College), Raipur, Chhattisgarh. They aim to provide students with top-notch education by teaching them technical skills and gaining professional knowledge to take on real-life challenges.

Student’s choice award is a measure to find – Educational Institutes which are admired by students and inspire generations. The focus of this award would be New Age Educational Institutes that give preference to New age methodology of grooming knowledge workers and prioritizes induction of
21st Century Skills in its students.
