IIT Indore was formed when the Indian government felt the need for more human resources and skilled professionals to bring about the much-needed revolution in the field of science and technology, it decided to set up eight new IITs. Six of them started their academic year in 2008, and the rest two started in 2009; one of them was IIT Indore. The Indian Institute of Technology Indore holds national importance. It is an organization that functions as an autonomous statutory unit under the Institute of Technology Act.
Student’s choice award is a measure to find – Educational Institutes which are admired by students and inspire generations. The focus of this award would be New Age Educational Institutes that give preference to New age methodology of grooming knowledge workers and prioritizes induction of
21st Century Skills in its students.
