Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur was established in 1963 and is known as the Malaviya Regional Engineering College, Jaipur as a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan. In 2002, the university was given the status of National Institute of Technology, and in 2007, as an Institute of National Importance through the Act of Parliament. The university is fully funded by the Government of India and the Ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantralaya).
Student’s choice award is a measure to find – Educational Institutes which are admired by students and inspire generations. The focus of this award would be New Age Educational Institutes that give preference to New age methodology of grooming knowledge workers and prioritizes induction of 21st Century Skills in its students.
