SASTRA Deemed University, also known as the Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology, and Research Academy, is a prestigious higher education institution in Tamil Nadu’s Thirumalaisamudram village. Shanmugha Arts Science Technology & Research Academy was established in 1984 and was granted deemed university status in the year 2001 under Section 3 of the UGC Act by the Government of India in 1956. SASTRA University has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an ‘A++’ grade.
